The base information, or most fundamental type of information you can store and share via the smart business card are called ‘actions’. Below are the key actions one can set on a typical smart business card…
You can set up multiples of each type of action to meet whatever needs, so there is almost no limit to the amount of information you can create and share with the smart business card.
All the actions or features are explained in details further below.
You may see it as eCard; it is a virtual card (vCard) and allows you to create and use your smart business card to share your contact details, including your names, display picture, phone numbers, company, position, emails, websites, and more. Only those you populate with information will show up on the recipient’s phone.
Generally, the Profile action allows you to create and share a bit more varied information about you, your company or product(s) to include your contact information, social media icons that link to your social media pages and channels, buttons (with or without thumbnail photos) that link to websites or external pages on the internet, and more.
Notice the “Contact Card” button; it pulls the related contact card when clicked and allows recipients of the profile to save one’s contact details directly to their phones with just a click or two. So rather than sharing a contact card, you can share a profile and the recipient can subsequently save your contacts from there.
The standard profile is so-called in order to distinguish it from another form of profile (Enhaced Profile) that affords you to include even more specialised or premium information that enhances the profile further. You may click here to see the enhanced profile.
This action allows you to create a normal button (without thumbnail photo) and put in a link that, with your smart business card, takes your recipients to a website or an external page on the internet.
This action allows you to create and use your smart business card to share details of an event to your recipient’s phone, and eventually to his/her calendar.
This action allows you to create and share an image of your regular QR code, with your prospects. This QR code is the same as the one associated with the card; it is an online QR code, and thus require active internet connectivity for it to work.

This action allows you to create and use your smart business card to share a composed email with your recipient so that there is record of content that he or she can respond to.
This action allows you to create and use your smart business card to share applicable mobile apps pages/channels with a prospect, with ease. When your prospect scans your card, it will open to the desired page on the app.
The supported apps are as shown.
This action allows you to connect with prospects through WhatsApp with ease; with it you can use your smart business card to create and share your WhatsApp number and a composed WhatsApp message that the recipient can readily respond to. When a prospect scans your card, it opens WhatsApp with your reference message, and the recipient can readily respond to it.
This action allows you to use your smart business card to connect with prospects through SMS with ease; with it you can use your smart business card to create and share your SMS number and a composed SMS message that the recipient can readily respond to. When a prospect scans your card, it opens SMS with your reference message, and the recipient can readily respond to it.
This action obviously allows you to create and use your smart business card to share a phone number with your prospects with ease; the recipient can click to call with ease.
This action allows you to create and use your smart business card to share multiple links and actions at once, along with a display picture.
This PRO action allows you to enhance or upgrade the standard profile to allow for the addition of the following enhanced features to your profile…
Accordions allow you to condense a large set of information into expandable headings that expand to reveal the associated content when clicked. They are perfect for frequently-asked questions, etc.
Video embed allows you to add a video from YouTube or Vimeo.
Photo gallery allows you to add a gallery of images.
Leads forms allow you to add a kind of data collection system that prompt recipients to enter some structured information (including their contact details) that will be sent to you electronically, when the accompanying ‘Submit’ button is clicked by the responder. It is a more upfront form that takes the ‘Exchange Contact’ button in the standard profile to a more responsive form.
You can have multiples of these in the profile; for instance, in the screenshot you would notice that two videos are included in the personal profile.
Notice the two buttons beneath the name; one is labelled “Save Contact” and the other is labelled “Exchange Contact”. As you might have rightly guessed by now, the ‘Save Contact’ button allows recipients of the profile to save the related contact details directly to their phones. And when a recipient clicks the ‘Exchange Contact’ button, a form opens for the recipient to type in his or her contact details and subsequently send back to your phone electronically.
This PRO action allows you to create and share a virtual menu (including prices) with your prospects. It is optimised for food vendors as it gives the option to select nutritional elements for each food item you create. Your can organise the menu items into categories.
It can be adapted for other uses; for instance, in the example shown, it is used to create a menu for smart business cards.
This PRO action allows you to create and use your smart business card to share a kind of data collection system that prompt recipients to enter some structured information (including their contact details) that will be sent to you electronically, when the accompanying ‘Submit’ button is clicked by the person. This PRO action allows you to create a special high density QR code that affords you to share your Contact Card, Email, SMS, and Call actions to a prospect’s phone even when the prospect’s phone does not have internet connectivity or internet data.
When you create such an Offline QR code, you can save a copy on your phone (photo gallery) so in the unlikely event that a prospect’s phone does not have internet connectivity at the moment you need to share your contact details, you simply go to your gallery and open the offline QR code image, and all that the prospect has to do is to scan it with a QR scanner app.
You may turn off the internet on a scanning phone (turn off both WiFi and Mobile Data; to be doubly sure) and then scan this special QR code with a QR Scanner app to see; if you use iPhone you can simply scan with your phone’s camera since it doubles as a QR Scanner.
One has to simply click the link popup to open the embedded contact details, and save it.
This is a PRO feature that comes with the enhanced or upgraded Profile action, and allows you create and add YouTube and Vimeo videos to your profile.
This PRO feature allows for access to a large collection of cards, and thus most suited for managing multiple cards. For instance, in an organisation or group; it gives you the ability to manage your employees or group members’ smart business cards from a master account, and still give them the ability to manage their individual cards from their end, but then you retain master control and can thus deactivate their cards or override them.
Imagine the profiles and all those items in the linktree further above, ALL shareable via a single business card; with the ability to select which one(s) to share or transmit at any point in time; how cool is that! Simply amazing! Don’t attempt to imagine even a tenth of that on the traditional or paper business card; oops!

A typical course or workshop page looks like illustrated below; it has course title, display picture, author info, help buttons, course preamble, course content (also called course outline), enrollment panel, etc…
The Course Content usually comes after a brief intro or preamble to the course. Note however, that the course intro or preamble could be included in the Course Content itself, in which case there may not be a separate preamble before the course content.
Where they occur, topics are subsets or sub-components of lessons. There could be quizzes for various topics, and/or lessons. And/or a final quiz for the overall course. These main course content components are hyperlinks or clickable links. They could further be separated into different sections, with section headings which are not hyperlinks or clickable links, but just labels.
To access a particular lesson or topic (or quiz, where applicable) you usually have to click it. When you do it should open to a page where the actual material or presentation (be it a lesson, a topic, or quiz) can then be seen, along with associated navigation buttons to help you navigate through the entire course.
Please take particular note of the enrollment panel which comes immediately after the Course Content or Course Outline. You may use that to enrol. More about that further below; you may scroll further down.
Though not illustrated in the above screenshot, a brief profile of the author, trainer or instructor is usually further below the page; usually after the social buttons and a repeat of the course title for relational appreciation.
A typical lesson page looks like illustrated below; it has lesson title, display picture, author info, progress bar, lesson preamble, lesson content, navigation buttons, etc…
For emphasis, do note that topics for a lesson (and quizzes, where applicable) are usually listed under Lesson Content as hyperlinks or clickable links; possibly after a preamble for the Lesson. Possibly, because a Lesson may or may not have a preamble.
Again, to access a topic (or quiz, where applicable) you usually need to click it. And it should open to a page where the actual material or presentation (be it a topic, or quiz) can then be seen, along with associated buttons to help you navigate through the entire lesson (and course).
Of special interest is the “Mark Complete” button. Whenever you are sufficiently done with or have completed a sub-topic or a lesson that does not have sub-topics, you need to tell the system so, for the purpose of tracking your progress. You therefore have to click the “Mark Complete” button.
Note also that you are required to enroll into a course before you can take take the full course. More about enrollment further below.
It is important to note that in certain situations, especially when you have not logged in, or when you have logged in but have not enrolled into that particular course or workshop, the links may not work as expected but rather show a notice that says: “You don’t currently have access to this content” (white on a blue background). In that case you have to log in first, which requires that you must have registered already or otherwise you have to register and enroll; you may click here for more about Registration.
Sometimes you may see a ‘SAMPLE LESSON’ label by a lesson, similar to as shown below…
Any lesson labelled this way can be viewed even when you have not enrolled or even logged in; when you click on any such lesson it will open so that you can preview it.
Now, on the issue of enrollment, if you logged in, and a progress bar similar to the one below was on the course page, usually above the course preamble, then you are already enrolled…
If so please close this window, and then click the applicable lesson, topic, or quiz under the ‘Course Content’ on the course page to proceed with the course.
If you have logged in and still seeing the notice that says: “You don’t currently have access to this content” then you need to enroll into that course in order to gain full access; see below…
If there was no progress bar on the course page, then you should find the Enrollment Panel with a ‘NOT ENROLLED’ indicator similar to the one above; usually located below the Course Content or Course Outline on the main course page, and not the popup course outline. As earlier illustrated further above. Please take particular note.
In that case you have to click the ‘Login To Enroll‘ button (for free courses) or the ‘Take this Course‘ button (for paid courses) or similar text beneath the ‘Get Started’ inscription; on the course page. After clicking the said applicable button or text as indicated above, the ‘NOT ENROLLED’ indicator should disappear, and the progress bar should appear on the course page.
